It’s a progressive album in the truest sense, not only incorporating tempo variation in the conventional ‘progressive’ sense but also hopping seamlessly from one genre to another, within songs and from song to song, making ‘The Album’ a must-listen for fans of progressive music. Latimer House – All The Rage

Prague-based guitar-driven pop/rock quartet Latimer House released their debut full-length album ‘All The Rage’ in February via Honk Records. The band started out in 2010 and this debut effort is a representation of their endeavor to blend various musical styles including 60s and 70s rock, pop, indie, folk, new wave and a few others. But the heart and core of their sound lies in the six-string instrument played by frontman Joe Cook, and for fans of clean electric and acoustic guitar sounds, Latimer House’s ‘All The Rage’ turns out to be quite a worthwhile offering. Ronnie James Dio – ‘This Is Your Life’ Tribute Album

As a tribute to the late great heavy metal icon Ronnie James Dio, some of the biggest luminaries of the genre have combined their efforts for the ‘This Is Your Life’ compilation, which consists of 13 covers of Ronnie’s most loved classics from his Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Dio catalogs, along with the title track off of the 1996 ‘Angry Machines’ album. 10 of the 13 covers are brand new and previously unreleased. All proceeds from the sale of this album are going to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund, and will be devoted to the organization’s ongoing cancer research.
