Interview: Corrosion Of Conformity Drummer Discusses New Album In Detail (Audio)

By Andrew Bansal

2012 is undoubtedly turning out to be a great year for Corrosion Of Conformity fans. The legendary “Animosity” line-up of Mike Dean, Woody Weatherman & Reed Mullin is set to release their first studio album together in a long time, the self-titled “Corrosion Of Conformity”, an album that’s aptly self-titled because it’s an excellent encapsulation of the band’s musical career.

To coincide with the US release of the album, the band is getting ready to hit the road all guns blazing with great support acts Clutch, Valient Thorr & A Storm Of Light. On January 18th, I caught up with drummer Reed Mullin. He opened up and talked in detail about how this album came about, his time away from the band, working with Dave Grohl, and other things. Enjoy the 17-minute conversation below and visit the band’s facebook page to buy the album.
