It’s been more than two years since Swedish hard rock quartet Graveyard last played on North American soil. To say that it’s been a long wait for fans is quite an understatement, specially considering the kind of impact their latest album “Hisingen Blues” has had on everyone. The band’s second full-length album is easily one of the best albums of 2011, and one through which Graveyard rapidly grew in stature among fans old and new.
Now that the band is finally back here, it’s great to see them play to sold out venues wherever they go. LA’s Bootleg Theater continued this trend last night, and a few hours before the show started, I got a chance to sit down with guitarist/vocalist Jonathan Ramm and drummer Axel Sjöberg to talk about this tour, and their plans for the rest of the year. Listen to the 7-minute conversation below, and if you haven’t already heard “Hisingen Blues”, do yourselves a huge favor, go to the band’s facebook page and buy the album.
