Periphery Bassist Talks Touring, Next Album, Stage Setup & More (Audio)

By Andrew Bansal

Modern progressive metal band Periphery are currently on the ‘This Tour Is Personal’ North American headline tour, with support acts Born Of Osiris, Dead Letter Circus and Twelve Foot Ninja. A highly active touring outfit, they were on the Summer Slaughter trek this year as well, and prior to that they toured with Deftones. Approaching the end of the cycle for their sophomore album, they are now getting ready to start work on the next album.  They brought their ‘personal’ tour to the Roxy in West Hollywood last night, and before the show I caught up with bassist Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood for a chat about touring, the next album, the band’s stage setup, the recent India show, and more. Listen to the 11-minute conversation here and use the links below the YouTube player to read a review of the Roxy show and visit Periphery on the web.
