By Andrew Bansal

Doom metal legend Jeff Olson is known for his work in bands such as Trouble, Retro Grave, Supershine, Wet Animal and The Skull, along with his other endeavors like orchestral music scores and the ‘Heady Metal With Jeff Olson’ podcast. His latest project is former Pentagram guitarist Victor Griffin’s new band In-Graved, wherein Olson has played the hammond organ on the recently released self-titled debut album, and will tour with the band as a keyboard player next month. A few days back, I spoke in detail with him about In-Graved, the upcoming Roadburn festivities, his contributions on the next Trouble album, the Retro Grave sophomore effort ‘Skullduggery’, the Heady metal podcast, music scores, teaching, and more. Listen to this highly insightful 20-minute conversation below.
