A comedy metal band based out of Atlanta, Georgia, Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles have been around for as long as 19 years, and even though they have more or less succeeded in their aim of putting out music everyone can get a kick out of, the band has gone through a few line-up changes. The latest addition to their line-up is Nashville Pussy guitarist Ruyter Suys. Besides the music releases, their most notable achievement is the Howard Stern award for excellence in music. Yes, you read that right.
Their latest album, “A Vulgar Display Of Obscurity”, hit stores last year. During the recording process, they got contributions from Mastodon’s Brent Hinds, Troy Sanders and Bill Killiher, Kevin Sharp from Brutal Truth, and Blaine Cartwright from Nashville Pussy.
Last month, on October 21st, I went to visit Dick Delicious himself at his house. We got stoned, hit “record” and talked some epic shit for the next 28 minutes. Do yourselves a favor and listen to this conversation below. After you do so, check out the band’s official website for all the latest info.
