Oxnard CA-based hardcore punk/crossover thrash veterans Dr. Know recently played a high-energy show at Hollywood’s Key Club on October 12th, with Ghoul, Mentors, Witchaven and others. Our writers Avinash and Elena were both at that show, and were highly impressed with the band’s performance. So we decided to fix up a chat with founder, vocalist & guitarist Kyle Toucher to explore Dr. Know’s past, present and future in detail, and present their story to our readers. Los Angeles-based heavy metal band DevilDriver are currently on a six-week North American trek as support act to Gwar, a tour which started in mid-October and will run all through November. Even though the band is still promoting their fifth studio album, the early 2011 release ‘Beast’,  they have parted ways with Roadrunner Records, signed a new record deal with Napalm Records, and are working on material for the next album. In celebration of their 30th anniversary, German thrash legends Destruction are about to release their studio album ‘Spiritual Genocide’ on November 23rd via Nuclear Blast Records.
