Their fourth full-length ‘Stand In The Fire’ is hands down the best album of the year 2016, and less than a year later, Canadian metal group Striker are back with the next one. The band has announced that the fifth album is self-titled and will be self-released via their own label Breaking Records on February 24th 2017.

“Born To Lose, like most of our songs, is about doing what you want in life. When you are born into this world, there is a lot of you life that is predetermined. If you choose to change part of your life you need to go out and live it, not just fantasize about it. We’ve always wanted to hear music like ours, so we started a band and created it. Born to Lose embraces everything we love about music: speed, nonstop shred, huge vocals, guitars, and drums, and over the top energy and emotion. If it doesn’t make you want to throw down and party then nothing will.”
And as announced earlier on this website, Striker will be embarking on a US headline tour in January-February, and will follow it immediately with a European run supporting Sonata Arctica (dates). Get ready to raise your fists and bang your heads with the finest young band you’ll see all year!
