July 4th 2015, Complex, Glendale CA: San Diego-based one-man industrial doom innovator Tristan Shone, a.k.a. Author & Punisher, released a stellar new album called ‘Melk En Honing’ to mark his Housecore Records debut in June 2015, a few days after, played a show at Complex in Glendale CA along with opening acts Baseck and Wire Werewolves, to celebrate the release and present the new material to his ever-growing legion of Los Angeles fans. Slayer & King Diamond Bring Mayhem To San Bernardino

June 27th 2015, San Manuel Amphitheater, San Bernardino CA: The 2015 edition of the annual Mayhem Festival kicked off in San Diego on Friday June 26 2015, and arrived in San Bernardino the day after to attract Los Angeles area metalheads in large numbers. Unlike previous years which treated audiences to some notable smaller, upcoming bands and presented solid second and third stage headliners, the focus of attention this year was solely on the two main acts, Slayer and King Diamond. 09June 11th 2015. Club Nokia, Los Angeles CA: To prog rock fans, the name Alan Parsons needs no introduction. The producer/engineer extraordinaire known for his work with the likes of Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Steven Wilson, has also carried out a prolific solo career as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter for the past four decades. Parsons presented a hefty dosage of this material on stage at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles last Thursday June 11th, including tunes off of classic albums such as ‘I Robot’ and ‘The Turn Of A Friendly Card’, and our photographer Carsten Steinhausen was in attendance to capture some great images for us.
