March 3rd 2014, The Whisky-A-Go-Go, West Hollywood CA: Up until now, AXS TV’s “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” series has mainly spotlighted rock and metal tribute bands from Southern California, but in their ongoing third season the program has decided to venture out and bring bands from elsewhere into the mix. Draw The Line are based out of Boston, the hometown of the band they pay tribute to, none other than the legendary Aerosmith, one of the most loved classic rock bands in America and beyond. Draw The Line played at the Whisky last night in front of a packed house at the venue as well as the AXS TV audience watching live at home. March 1st 2014, House Of Blues Sunset Strip, West Hollywood CA: Longstanding Finnish melodic death metal quintet Children Of Bodom have made somewhat of a habit of touring North America on a regular basis, owing to their consistently strong fan base in these parts, and following an appearance on last year’s Mayhem Festival tour, they’ve returned with a full headline tour of their own, with support acts Death Angel and Tyr. King Buzzo & Tweak Bird Play Scion Rock Show At The Satellite

By Andrew Bansal

February 26th 2014, The Satellite, Los Angeles CA: This month’s edition of the Scion Rock Show took place last night at its now usual venue at the Satellite in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles, and this time the folks at Scion had something special in-store for us, in the form of Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne’s live solo acoustic debut. Performing under the moniker ‘King Buzzo’ which borrows from a Melvins EP of the same name, Osborne will release a yet untitled solo acoustic album via Ipecac Records in June and will kick off a three-week US tour on March 2nd, but this particular show was the first ever time he took these songs onto a stage for an audience. Also playing this show were Los Angeles-based heavy rock duo Tweak Bird, and judging my the number of people outside the venue before the show, the anticipation surrounding this show was great, even on a rainy Los Angeles evening.
