Los Angeles-based instrumental progressive metal/fusion trio Mammoth are products of Musicians Institute and have been in existence for more than a decade, independently releasing three EPs and playing gigs regularly during this period. They caught Metal Assault’s attention when they were won a ‘battle of the bands’ to open for Mr. Big at the Saban Theatre in February 2015, and succeeded in leaving an extremely strong first impression with their performance. Now, the trio of Wes Thrailkill (guitar), Chase Bryant (bass) and Aliyar Kinik (drums) are preparing for the release of a new EP called ‘Innate’ in late May, and we are pleased to present to you the exclusive premiere of the track ‘Paradigm’.
