Voivod have withdrawn from the upcoming Shockwave Tour featuring Fear Factory, Misery Index, Cattle Decapitation, Havok, Last Chance To Reason & The Browning. The tour was supposed to have Voivod on the lineup as the main support act. Voivod joins Revocation, Dirge Within, Vidhjarta & Forged In Flame in the list of bands that have dropped out of this tour. The following update was posted on Voivod’s official facebook page a short while ago:
“Shockwave tour is no longer as advertised, Voivod really wanted to be touring but the situation was out of the band’s control and the tour producers could not live up to the promises.”
