Longstanding Swedish stoner rock group Truckfighters are continuing to tour in support of their fifth full-length studio album, simply titled ‘V’, released in 2016 via Fuzzorama/Century Media. After a successful and extensive European tour, they have announced the second leg of North America dates, a run that will take them through the US West Coast and Western Canada, with fellow Swedish band Greenleaf as support act on all shows, and Vancouver-based We Hunt Buffalo joining on the Canada shows. Here’s an update on the previously announced North American tour featuring Nails, Toxic Holocaust and Gatecreeper: A Los Angeles show has been added! Devin Townsend Project Added as Support for Opeth-Gojira Co-Headline Tour

As if the prospect of Opeth and Gojira touring together wasn’t already enticing enough, Devin Townsend Project has been added as the support act for the previously announced tour which will see Opeth and Gojira play seven co-headline shows and take part in two festivals. DTP will be on all shows except the festival dates. Who else thinks this needs to be a full North American tour and not just a 10-day run? Also, who else in LA remembers that Gojira and DTP played separate headline shows in town on the same night this year, making us choose between the two?
