Multi-instrumentalist genius Devin Townsend has enjoyed a highly prolific 2014, filled to the brim with creativity and activity. He released the epic double concept album ‘Z2’ as well as the self-titled debut album for his blues/country rock project Casualties Of Cool. Besides, he has been touring as actively as ever, and currently finds himself on the ‘Abstract Reality’ North American tour with co-headliners Animals As Leaders and opening act Monuments. The Pink Floyd of modern heavy metal, Los Angeles prog group Intronaut have come a long way since they started out in 2004. Four full-length albums and countless global live rituals later, they are on the cusp of marking their tenth year of existence with a grand celebration at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood on Thursday December 18. In this special tenth anniversary show, Intronaut will present songs from every album and will invite a guest musician or two to join them on stage. Besides Intronaut, opening acts Ides Of Gemini, Silver Snakes and The Great Wall will round out the lineup for what promises to be a memorable evening for all involved. Australian eclectic rock/metal group Twelve Foot Ninja caught the eyes and ears of many on their first US tour in 2013 as an opening act to Periphery, and every night of that run, TFN succeeded in walking away as the most memorable band of the show. Now, they are coming to the end of a nine-week US run in support of In This Moment, and the final show of the tour is at the House Of Blues Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on December 17. Ventura, California old-school metal trio Night Demon have successfully completed their ‘ExtermiNation America’ tour as main support to British legends Raven, a tour that spanned nine weeks and traveled a distance of 18,500 road miles through 30 states in the USA and 2 in Canada.
