Arkona Announce North American Tour with Sirenia, MindMaze, Graveshadow & Sicocis

Russian pagan metal band Arkona are returning to North America this Spring with a special 15th anniversary celebration show lined up for their fans in this continent. Besides their set, there’s the added bonus of Norwegian gothic/symphonic metal band Sirenia, doing the first ever North American tour. Allentown, Pennsylvania prog/power metal band MindMaze will provide additional support on all dates, plus, Sacramento, California symphonic metal band Graveshadow and Las Vegas, Nevada thrash metal group Sicocis will open on select dates. Ticket Giveaway: Marduk @ The Regent

After being forced to postpone their 2016 North American tour due to visa issues, Swedish black metal veterans Marduk are finally back in this continent, and this time, everything is going according to plan, and is running on schedule. They’ve brought with them Incantaion and Svart Crown as support acts. The tour will hit Los Angeles with a show at The Regent on Friday February 17th, and that gig will also feature local openers Icon Of Phobos and Highland. Ticket Giveaway: Uli Jon Roth @ Brick By Brick (San Diego)

‘Tokyo Tapes’ is a live album released by the Scorpions in 1978, and guitar maestro Uli Jon Roth, who was in the band at the time, recreated the experience with his own solo band in 2015, at the same venue where the Scorpions concert was originally recorded. Uli released the ‘Tokyo Tapes Revisited’ concert film plus live album in Decemmber 2016. He is now touring North America in support of it, playing a similar set of songs, a celebration of his classic work with the Scorpions. The tour arrives in Southern California for next week, including a gig at Brick By Brick in San Diego on Friday February 17th. DragonForce Reveal New Album Details

Longstanding perpetrators of all things shred and power metal, DragonForce have revealed information surrounding their newest set of studio recordings. Their seventh full-length ‘Reaching Into Infinity’ will be released May 19th 2017 via Metal Blade Records. It is the first to feature drummer Gee Anzalone, and retains the remainder of the lineup that recorded the last two albums, i.e. Marc Hudson (vocals), Herman Li and Sam Totman (guitar), Frédéric Leclercq (bass) and Vadim Pruzhanov (keyboards). Ticket Giveaway: The Crazy World of Arthur Brown @ The Regent

The original shock rocker, the God of Hellfire, the one and only Arthur Brown, is back with his band, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, for its first U.S. tour in 47 years! The Crazy World made a successful appearance at the Psycho Las Vegas festival in 2016 and garnered instant admiration from metalheads and rock lovers, and it was only inevitable that the band would embark on a tour soon enough. On this short 10-day run, they are bringing Electric Citizen as support act on all shows, with additional regional support differing by territory. The tour begins in Los Angeles with a gig at the Regent on Wednesday February 15th, also featuring White Hills as the regional support act.
