For the first time in five years, Glenn Danzig’s ‘Blackest Of The Black’ tour has been resurrected, and has returned to reach masses across North America. Besides Danzig, this edition of ‘Blackest Of The Black’ features the recently rejuvenated Philip Anselmo-led Superjoint, Veil Of Maya, Prong and Witch Mountain. The four-week trek began in Phoenix AZ on October 2nd and keeping with Danzig’s tradition of landing Halloween night gigs in the Los Angeles area, the tour will come to a close on Saturday October 31st in downtown Los Angeles at Microsoft Theater L.A. Providence, Rhode Island death metal veterans Vital Remains are currently on a North American headline run, with Canada’s Necronomicon and The Kennedy Veil from California as support acts. Haunted houses and horror nights are commonplace on or around Halloween night, but imagine a theatre venue that you frequently visit to attend hard rock and heavy metal concerts being turned into a full-on haunted house for one night? The Wiltern in downtown Los Angeles will undergo such a transformation on Friday October 30th, and will also host a classic horror movie marathon, along with a virtual reality horror film showcase. The four films to be screened are: American Werewolf In London, Cabin In The Woods, The Decent, and Demons, and Anna Hutchison, star of Cabin In The Woods, will be in attendance as a speaker.
