Ticket Giveaway: Brujeria, The Casualties & Pinata Protest @ Observatory OC

Los Angeles grindcore/death metal veterans Brujeria have made a full return to prominence, and are taking no prisoners. Following the 2016 Nuclear Blast release of ‘Pocho Aztlan’, their first full-length studio album since 2000 and a tour immediately after, Brujeria are starting 2017 with a three-week US headline tour, also featuring The Casualties and Pinata Protest as support acts. The three bands will visit the Orange County area in Southern California for a gig at The Observatory OC on Wednesday January 11th, with local support from Corrupted Youth and Mafia Rusa. Mothership set to embark on ‘Southern Invasion’ Tour

Dallas, Texas stoner rock trio Mothership are about to set foot on a run of Southern US dates en route to this year’s Shiprocked Cruise. Dubbed ‘Southern Invasion’, this is in addition to their already announced run of US dates with Speedealer and Against The Grain. Plus, the band will also be releasing their third studio album ‘High Strangeness’ on March 17th 2017 via Ripple Music. Blaze Bayley Announces New Album & World Tour

Quickly following up his 2016 solo album ‘Infinite Entanglement’, former Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley is already back with its sequel in 2017. ‘Endure and Survive (Infinite Entanglement Part II)’ is the second in a trilogy based a sci-fi concept, and will be self-released on March 3rd. Bayley will be embarking on a world tour to promote the album, playing 120 shows across Europe, US, Canada, Latin America and beyond through 2017-18. The European tour dates are set between February and June, and are posted on the official website (link above). Pallbearer Reveal New Album Details

Little Rock, Arkansas doom stalwarts Pallbearer have unveiled details for their eagerly awaited third full-length studio album ‘Heartless’. Set to release March 24th 2017 via Profound Lore Records in North America and Nuclear Blast in Europe, ‘Heartless’ was recorded on analog tape at Fellowship Hall Sound in Pallbearer’s hometown, and mixed it with Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Melvins, Soundgarden) last summer. With their first two full-length offerings ‘Sorrow and Extinction’ (2012) and ‘Foundations of Burden’ (2014) they garnered widespread admiration from fans of the sub-genre, and look poised to take it to the next level with the new album. Fu Manchu Forced to Postpone this weekend’s Southern California shows
