EXODUS, PRONG, JEFF LOOMIS & CHRIS POLAND To Perform At Schecter Guitars 2013 NAMM Party

Schecter Guitar Research, in conjunction with Monster Energy, Jagermeister and Stone Brewing Co.,  is proud to announce the lineup for this year’s installment of the highly anticipated big show bash that takes place during the winter NAMM Conference on Saturday, January 26th at The Grove of Anaheim (doors open at 7pm).  So, abandon you’re current schedule of beer, partycasino.com, and most likely a football game or two. The event, with all beverages donated by Monster Energy, Jagermeister and Stone Brewing Co., – benefitting the non-profit animal rescue charity, Take Me Home – is notably revered year after year by fans, musicians and industry types alike. The 2013 edition will be an evening of ear-shattering metal featuring Bay Area thrash titans Exodus, NYC’s proto-groove legends Prong, ex – Nevermore guitar wizard Jeff Loomis and former Megadeth guitar virtuoso, Chris Poland, who will be performing with his band Ohm.

Exodus, led by longtime stalwart Gary Holt and nearing its 30th year in existence, is showing no signs of slowing down as they still tout their latest release,” Exhibit B: The Human Condition”, kick off 2013 with their NAMM performance at Schecter’s 11th Annual NAMM Party and then hit the road in the spring alongside Anthrax for the Metal Alliance Tour.  Schecter artist and Prong’s main man, Tommy Victor – having logged in time with both Danzig and Ministry – has now set his sights back on propelling Prong back to its rightful spot atop the metal pyre, as 2012’s “Carved in Stone” set the tone for the year to come.  Also on the bill is former Nevermore axe man, Jeff Loomis, who has poured his immense talents into his second solo release “Plains of Oblivion” – a mixture of orchestral-style sweeps, blistering thrash metal and structured vocal tracks. Loomis invited several guests to appear on the aforementioned album and among them was one of the original thrash metal architects and fellow Schecter artist, Chris Poland. His famed work with Megadeth set the template for hundreds of bands and thousands of players. Poland’s band Ohm will kick off the proceedings.

Additionally, Schecter’s big move into the expansive NAMM display area of room 210-D will also host many big name artist autograph signings.  Announcements coming soon!
