As of today, AOL Music is streaming A Eulogy For The Damned, the latest studio offering from U.K. stoner metal conjurers ORANGE GOBLIN. Set for North American release on February 14, 2012, the ten-track A Eulogy For The Damned is ORANGE GOBLIN’s seventh studio album and first for Candlelight Records!
The long-awaited new full-length has been reaping accolades from critics nationally. In an early review of the record, Popdose boasts: “…their first record for Candlelight is pretty damn fantastic. Rockin’, riff-tastic and possibly the best record from start to finish that they’ve released yet.” Blistering calls it “…a total pure-bred metal album,” adding that, “there’s not a trace of fluff or even a sideways idea to be found, which makes its execution all the more impressive,” while Decibel proclaims: “Long-haired limeys, maximum riffage and turbo doom. Biker rock. From England. And it’s pretty awesome.”

In related news, earlier today the band launched their “Red Tide Rising” video online. The video clip is loosely based on H.P. Lovecraft stories and was shot in a series of dilapidated buildings around the UK. Check it out at the THIS LOCATION.
