Anthrax have issued the following statement regarding guitarist Rob Caggiano’s departure from the band: “Rob has been an integral part of Anthrax for so many years, as our lead guitarist, in a production capacity, but most of all, as our close friend.  His contributions to the band have been enormous. The Metal Alliance Tour is back for their third ferocious year of wrecking heads have booked and is now announcing this year’s round of dates. The Metal Alliance has become the genre’s biggest spring tour and this year is no different. Festival organizers Dan Rozenblum and Steve Seabury of High River Entertainment are proud to announce and welcome ANTHRAX, the undisputed titans of metal, as their 2013 headliner.
