California deathgrind band Cattle Decapitation are having to postpone their Asia tour which was supposed to happen in early April, due to ‘reasons beyond the band’s control’, as stated in a twitter update earlier today. This tour was also supposed to include a gig in the Indian city of Darjeeling on April 2nd, and an appearance at the Obscene Extreme Asia festival. Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of bluesy hard rockers Burning Rain‘s third studio album, EPIC OBSESSION, on May 21st in North America. Burning Rain was founded by current Whitesnake axeman Doug Aldrich together with singer Keith St. John (ex-Montrose). The line-up for the new album is rounded out by Sean McNabb on bass (ex-Quiet Riot, Dokken, House of Lords) and Mat Starr on drums (Ace Frehley). EPIC OBSESSION comes after a long hiatus from the release of the band’s second album, PLEASURE TO BURN, in 2000. The Prague Municipal Court on Tuesday acquitted American singer Randy Blythe of his indictment. The Lamb Of God vocalist originally faced up to ten years in prison for allegedly throwing a 19-year old Lamb of God fan from the stage in 2010, which resulted in the young man’s death. New York death metal legends, IMMOLATION, have unveiled the artwork and track listing for their upcoming ninth full-length album Kingdom of Conspiracy. The cover imagery was brought to life this time by no less than Pär Olofsson (IMMORTAL, THE FACELESS, ABYSMAL DAWN). “The figures in the artwork have all been bound and chained and have their eyes and mouths sewn shut symbolically, showing the chilling of speech and the intentional blinding of the masses,” explains guitarist Robert Vigna. “They all make up the huge ominous structure behind them, which is symbolic of the growing security state as well as our failing structures today, and how they are slowly and methodically consuming and controlling us all.
