Mumbai (India) based traditional metal band Albatross have just released a lyric video of their rendition of Motörhead’s ‘God Was Never On Your Side’, off of the band’s 2006 album Kiss Of Death, not only as a tribute to Motörhead themselves but also to former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr who passed away last week. The video consists of a slide show of Clive Burr images, followed by the song’s lyrics. This cover will be included on the upcoming ‘Motörhead India’ tribute album, to be released this summer on Iron Fist Records. With the recent exoneration of front man Randy Blythe from all charges in the Czech Republic, LAMB OF GOD announces today a tour of secondary markets May 16^th through June 20^th.  The tour continues the support of the album Resolution and hits 30 markets not yet visited on the current album cycle.  Support on all dates will be Decapitated with Terror appearing through June 10^th and The Acacia Strain appearing on the remaining shows. Bangalore (India) based stoner doom metal band Bevar Sea have just released a lyric video for their cover of Motörhead’s song ‘Turn You Round Again’ off of the Another Perfect Day album, which was released almost 30 years ago in 1983. The audio of Bevar Sea’s cover is accompanied by scenes from the martial arts-based movie ‘Ip Man’. This cover will be included on the ‘Motörhead Tribute – India’ album which will be released on Iron Fist Records later this year. Other bands that have recorded Motörhead covers for the album include Dying Embrace, Albatross, Millennium, Solar Deity, Shepherd, Djinn & Miskatonic, and 1833 AD.
