Austin, Texas based classic heavy metal quintet Scorpion Child have signed to Nuclear Blast Records. This May, Nuclear Blast will release the band’s self-titled full-length debut. Produced and arranged by Chris “Frenchie” Smith (THE ANSWER, AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD…), the album uses analog recording technology to organically capture a hybrid of nine, hook-filled chapters of heavy psych rock. He has revealed his latest venture, a custom Black Sabbath t-shirt which will be printed on a pre-order basis only. He is now accepting pre-orders on his facebook page (linked above), and based on the number of pre-orders, the shirt will go into print mid-February with shipping to follow soon after.
