In this week’s edition of Throwback Thursday, we revisit German metal queen Doro Pesch’s original band Warlock, which eventually became her solo band by the end of the 80s. Warlock released four studio albums, including the 1986 ‘True As Steel’ LP, in support of which they did a world tour and traveled across North America as part of it. Pesch was a very young 22-year old performer at the time, but almost 30 years later, she brings the same level of dedication, energy and passion to the stage, and her longstanding modern-day relevance is the sole reason why she is being featured in this segment. Montreal-based photographer Wayne William Archibald saw the band at Club Soda in his hometown in 1986, and captured these great photos.
