On Saturday February 15th at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, the “Gutter ‘n’ Grind” event will be bringing together some of the finest local talent in hard rock and heavy metal, and besides the live music, the show will also have additional attractions in store for the attendees.
Curated by Los Angeles-based promoter Lara Gladstone, the show features a six-band lineup headed by Rattlehead and supported by Nothing Sacred, Love And A .38, Future Villains, Delta Rose and Fire The Animal. Doors to this event are scheduled to open at 7 PM, and the live music will commence at 8:15 PM, as Fire The Animal promise to come out all guns blazing with their brand of rock n’ roll. Having formed merely six months ago, Fire The Animals are a relatively new entity and are eager to show their wares to an audience that would be largely unfamiliar with them. Then, Delta Rose will give this show the old-school touch with their classic blues-based hard rock, a salute to legends ZZ Top, AC/DC, Rolling Stones and the like. Following them, Future Villains and Love And A .38, both known for their typically energetic on-stage performances, will keep the rock n’ roll flowing. In the latter part of the show, the decibels will be turned up to the maximum by thrash/speed metal quartet Rattlehead, who’ve been around in the Los Angeles metal scene for a while and with the release of their new EP ‘The Blackout Brigage’, they are are finally ready to take themselves to the next level. Last but by no means the least, Nothing Sacred will close out the night with their high octane hard rock.

Aside from these killer bands, the show will boast of three raffle giveaways. These include brand new ESP and Gibson Les Paul guitars to be given away courtesy of Guitar Center, and a pair of extremely costly tickets to the Manowar show at the Fox Theater in Pomona on Saturday February 22nd, sponsored by Tattoo Apparel. And to add further to the entertainment, the show will be topped off (no pun intended) by a 10-girl Bikini contest.
The Troubadour as a venue always makes for an ideal atmosphere for rock n’ roll, and at an advance ticket price of a mere $10 and a day-of-show price of $13, “Gutter ‘n’ Grind” promises to be a highly affordable entertainment-filled event for Los Angeles’ local rock community, and comes as highly recommended by Metal Assault.
