Rock guitar icon Slash, with his band The Conspirators i.e. Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass) and Frank Sidoris (guitar), is currently on a North American headline run as part of a world tour in support of the ‘World On Fire’ album, which is Slash’s third solo effort, and second featuring The Conspirators. Following the September 2014 release of ‘World On Fire’, Slash and The Conspirators played a series of intimate club shows in the Los Angeles area, including a sold-out gig at the Roxy which was recorded and released as a live album. Through successful new music and powerful live performances, the band has expanded its fan-base exponentially in the past year, and is now set to rock a much bigger stage, the Hollywood Palladium on Friday October 23 2015.
Slash and The Conspirators will be presenting material from ‘World On Fire’ along with selections from the 2012 full-length effort ‘Apocalyptic Love’ and the 2010 Slash self-titled solo debut album. Besides, the set will include righteous renditions of Guns ‘N Roses classics, with Slash lending his signature guitar tone to those tunes to enthrall audiences, and Myles Kennedy doing full justice to the vocals. And what’s more, Slash diehards may even be treated to a Velvet Revolver song or two.
At 50 years of age, Slash still retains the magic that initially brought him fame three decades ago, and in The Conspirators he has a group of musicians that are worthy of standing alongside him. The band’s massive rock is sure to prove more than strong enough to leave a longlasting impact on the Hollywood Palladium. Tickets to the show are now on sale here.
