Bandcamp Friday (September Edition): What’s in store at Metal Assault Records

In case you weren’t aware, it’s another Bandcamp Friday! It means that through all of today (until 11:59 PM Pacific Time), Bandcamp is waiving its revenue share, and letting us keep 100% of our sales revenue. As has become the tradition through this strange year of human existence, Metal Assault Records has premiered a bunch of new music and launched a whole host of new merchandise items to coincide with Bandcamp Friday. Here’s a quick rundown.

1. WARWIND – Arise: The debut album from this highly promising new LA black metal group is releasing on October 23 and is now available for pre-order on CD, limited-edition cassette tape and digital download, and as part of merch bundles with album cover design t-shirts. 2. OLD BLOOD – Acid Doom: Over 50K streams across all digital platforms, debut at # 22 on Doom Charts, and stellar reviews by Doomed & Stoned, Ghost Cult Magazine, Riff Relevant, The Sleeping Shaman, and more. The first week of release for LA psychedelic doom unit Old Blood’s new album Acid Doom has been a huge success. 3. HAUNTED GARAGE – Slenderman … and Other Strange Tales [Expanded EP]: The first full-length release from the LA horror punk / shock rock / heavy metal legends in 30 years!
