Los Angeles post-metal band DAWN FADES is releasing their self-titled debut album on February 8 via Metal Assault Records, and the band has just unveiled a stunning music video for the lead single “Freeze”, premiered exclusively through Doomed & Stoned. Watch the video in its full 4K glory below.
Metal Assault Records’ second signing is Los Angeles based post-metal quintet DAWN FADES. Having worked with the band for some of its events in the Los Angeles area, Metal Assault quickly came to the conclusion that Dawn Fades’ live performance is mesmerizing and magnetic every single time, striking an unimaginable and often unattainable balance between ferocity and finesse, and always exhibiting a wide spectrum of musical expressions within the finite duration typically allotted to them as a support act.
It was high time Dawn Fades captured the beautiful intensity of their live performances in the form of studio recordings, and Metal Assault Records is eager and excited to release this set of tunes on the band’s behalf. The self-titled Dawn Fades full-length album is set for release on limited edition vinyl (black and gold color variations) and all digital platforms, on February 8 2019.
On December 17, Doomed & Stoned hosted the exclusive premiere of the stunning music video for the song “Freeze”, (directed by Patrick Churvis, filmed by Drew Paslay and edited by Josh Drew) along with a stellar writeup.
Previously, Ghost Cult Magazine premiered the first single, “Freeze”, and Blabbermouth unveiled the second single and opening track, “Lean”. Both songs are available for streaming and download via the Metal Assault bandcamp, and on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, Tidal and Deezer.
