4. Black Sabbath: Heaven And Hell

Hardcore Sabbath fans must be aware of the fact that this particular cover art was taken from a painting by artist Lynn Curlee, entitled "Smoking Angels". Angels smoking cigarettes ... what else can better describe the simultaneous existence of heaven and hell? One can have more than one interpretation of it. The first is same as the artist's and the second is that a person looking as pure as an angel from the outside could easily be a devil from the inside. Quite honestly, if I existed in 1980 and were to see a bunch of newly released albums in a record store, this one would have ignited my interest with utmost ease. A classic in the true sense of the word.
