With the release of Czar\u2019s debut full-length,\u00a0Vertical Mass Grave<\/em>, set for December 6, GunShyAssassin has posted \u201cDiapers\u201d, a track from the album.<\/div>\n
http:\/\/gunshyassassin.com\/exclusive\/czar-diapers\/<\/a>GunShyAssassin founder Chris Harris reports:\u00a0\u201cSo, chances are by now you have heard of Czar, the Chicago trio that defies characterization, as their music contains elements of various metal styles. But at the end of the day, I\u2019d have to call \u2018em progressive metal. No matter what umbrella they fall under, Czar fucking rips.\u201d<\/p>\n

A recent review on NoiseCreep states, \u201cCzar is an exciting power trio that fans of Mastodon, Killing Joke and even the Jesus Lizard should check out immediately.\u201d Outburn Magazine has named Czar, simply, \u201cthinking man\u2019s metal\u201d.<\/p>\n

Czar features members of Acumen Nation and DJ? Acucrack, stalwarts of Chicago\u2019s industrial and electronic scenes.\u00a0Czar frontman Jason Novak is also founder of Cracknation, the label releasing\u00a0Vertical Mass Grave\u00a0<\/em>on December 6. In addition to putting out music, Cracknation has functioned as a production house, creating instrumental tracks for TV shows (True Blood, MTV Music Awards), original scores for videogames, and remixes for the likes of KMFDM, Frontline Assembly, and Prong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Vertical Mass Grave<\/em>\u00a0was recorded by Matt Talbott, guitarist\/vocalist of Hum, at Great Western Record Recorders (Emery, Open Hand, Adai).<\/div>\n
