Swedish demigods of bluesy, psychedelic rock GRAVEYARD have set Lights Out<\/em> as the title for their third studio album, due out in Europe on October 26th<\/sup> and in North America on November 6th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019Lights Out\u2019 sums up the feeling of the new album,\u201d states GRAVEYARD drummer Axel Sj\u00f6berg, \u201cand a feeling that we have that these times that we live in are strange times\u2026 where no one really sees anything straight or the way they are.\u201d<\/p>\n

In regards to the album artwork, Sj\u00f6berg adds: \u201cWe all know that both we and pretty much everyone else was really excited about the cover of Hisingen Blues<\/em>, so we had to come up with a really strong idea to match the strength of that cover.\u00a0 It\u2019s just about finished now, but even without having seen the final version, we are convinced that no one will be disappointed.\u00a0 We\u2019ve worked with several people who all added their part, and as the saying goes in Sweden, \u2018The sum of the parts is bigger than the parts alone.\u2019\u00a0 So sharpen your raven\u2019s hatches and get ready for Lights Out<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n

Lights Out<\/em> will be the follow-up to 2011\u2019s Hisingen Blues<\/em>, GRAVEYARD\u2019s second studio album and Nuclear Blast debut, which landed on three Billboard album charts\u00a0(#48 \u2013 Heatseekers, #140 \u2013 Top Independent Current albums, and #46 \u2013 Current Hard Music Albums) and officially entered the Swedish album chart at No. 1.\u00a0 The record was produced, recorded, and mixed in 100% analog by Don Alsterberg (Gonzales, Junip, Soundtrack Of Our Lives, The International Noise Conspiracy) at Don Pierre Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden.<\/p>\n
