Progressive instrumentalists\u2019 SCALE THE SUMMIT have confirmed a brief fall tour that will feature support from the jazz-fusion band Trioscapes, which features members of Between The Buried And Me. SCALE and BTBAM are no strangers to one another, having toured together on the latter’s early 2010 headline run that also featured Cynic and Devin Townsend.\u00a0This will likely be SCALE THE SUMMIT’s final tour in support of their critically acclaimed 2011 release “The Collective,” which was labeled by Hails and Horns as \u201ca perfect example of the pinnacle of musical excellence.” That album was released on vinyl for the first time earlier this year with the bonus track “Redwoods,” which is also available as a digital single.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since releasing their Prosthetic debut “Carving Desert Canyons” in 2009, SCALE THE SUMMIT has toured with a who’s who of modern progressive metal, including Dream Theater, Periphery, The Contortionist, Protest The Hero and many more.\u00a0The band was\u00a0most recently seen on their second-ever headlining tour across the U.S. with openers Today I Caught The Plague.<\/p>\n
