Today, LAMB OF GOD releases the first trailer for their projected 2013 feature film, As The Palaces Burn.\u00a0 The film, directed by award winning documentary filmmaker Don Argott and produced by 9.14 Pictures (Last Days Here, Art of the Steal, Rock School), examines the impact that music and particularly heavy metal music has made on people around the globe as they live in a 21st<\/sup> century world full of economic uncertainty, political unrest, social injustice, and under a constant fear of war and violence.\u00a0 Filming has taken place to date in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, India, and Israel.\u00a0 Filming in the United States will take place over the summer months.<\/p>\n

Embedded in the trailer is the video for the band\u2019s second single from the Resolution CD, \u2018Desolation\u2019. The video was shot at shows in South America and Mexico and is the follow up to the animated video for the track \u2018Ghost Walking\u2019.<\/p>\n

The band, currently on tour in Europe, begins the North American tour for Resolution on August 1st<\/sup> in Seattle, WA along with co-headliners Dethklok and special guest Gojira.<\/p>\n
