Scythia<\/a>\u00a0has announced they will be opening for Finnish folk metal band\u00a0Korpiklaani<\/a>\u00a0and Russian pagan metal band\u00a0Arkona<\/a>\u00a0on December 3rd in Vancouver, BC at The Rickshaw Theatre as part of the “UKON WACKA North American Tour”.<\/p>\n

“Scythia is both stoked and honoured to play with folk metal’s heavyweights such as Korpiklaani and Arkona. \u00a0This night will be a fusion of European and North American interpretations of this genre and it will provide a very enticing reason to come out and rock hard.” commented Scythia vocalist and guitarist Dave Khan.<\/p>\n

Scythia will also be headlining\u00a0Nerd Fest<\/a>\u00a0this weekend in Vancouver on Saturday, November 19th and have also had their latest album “…Of Exile” released on September 23rd recently conquer the #1 spot on the\u00a0Top 20 Canadian Loud Charts for October 2011<\/a>.<\/p>\n
