“We are both shocked and saddened that our friend and one time band mate has chosen to file a lawsuit against us, especially after having positive discussions since our reformation,” said\u00a0John Garcia\u00a0and\u00a0Brant Bjork. \u00a0“We look forward to resolving this private matter behind closed doors and moving forward with work on our new album and connecting with our amazing, loyal fans.”<\/p>\n

In 2010,\u00a0Garcia,\u00a0Bjork\u00a0and\u00a0Oliveri\u00a0reunited alongside Belgium guitarist\u00a0Feveryand returned to the stage for the first time in over 15 years as\u00a0KYUSS LIVES!. \u00a0The group’s 2011 world tour proved to be a feast of recognition for the legendary musicians and saw the band thrill audiences across the globe. \u00a0The band’s North American live return was called “a declaration of triumphant return” by the\u00a0National Post\u00a0while the group themselves were aptly described as “Influential” by\u00a0Time Out New York, “the lords of stoner rock” by the\u00a0Washington Post-Express\u00a0and “pioneers of the genre” by\u00a0The Charlotte Observer.<\/p>\n
