ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL\u00a0is pleased to announce the addition of\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD\u00a0to the 2012 line-up. This marks the first summer tour that\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD\u00a0has taken part in for several years.<\/p>\n

The legendary metal veterans join the 2012 main stage line-up, featuring SLIPKNOT\u00a0in the headlining position, as well as legendary thrash metal kings\u00a0SLAYER\u2014both returning to the\u00a0ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL\u00a0for a second turn at pummeling fans.<\/p>\n

MOT\u00d6RHEAD\u00a0frontman Lemmy Kilmister commented, “Well, we’re used to mayhem in this band, so it’s kind of a family tradition!\u00a0 Bring it!”<\/p>\n

MOT\u00d6RHEAD\u00a0just finished up their run with\u00a0ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL\u00a0alum\u00a0Megadeth\u00a0on the 2012 Gigantour. On January 24th<\/sup>,MOT\u00d6RHEAD\u00a0Music\/UDR released \u2018The W\u00f6rld Is Ours-Vol 1 – Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else\u2019, an official DVD containing some of the finest moments from the band\u2019s recent\u00a0The W\u00f6rld is Yours\u00a0<\/em>tour, which also includes a special bonus double live CD of the Chile stop. Frontman Lemmy will also be part of a\u00a0Ronnie James Dio\u00a0tribute album which will be out later this year.
