For over 22 years,\u00a0German giants, Wacken Open Air have successfully tapped into the minds of\u00a0thousands of heavy metal music lovers, who flock into this 3 day festival\u00a0extravaganza, just to have the time of their lives. This year, Wacken Open Air,\u00a0extends their support to make Bangalore Open Air<\/strong> a successful annual\u00a0property catering to the huge Metal audience being the only dedicated Heavy\u00a0Metal Festival in India.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Salman U. Syed<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>(Infinite Dreams) said, \u201cHaving been a proud participant of\u00a0<\/em>Wacken every year, it was a dream of mine to bring a part of something so big,\u00a0<\/em>here, in the Heavy Metal capital of India. It is our humble attempt to contribute to\u00a0<\/em>the ever growing metal scene in India, and I hope that it becomes a stepping\u00a0<\/em>stone for music festivals like this, to develop in our country\u201d.<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

We\u00b4re really looking forward to support\u00a0<\/em>the people from Infinite Dreams and Bangalore Open Air in the organization of\u00a0<\/em>their event to bring even more Metal to India.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Holger H\u00fcbner<\/em><\/strong>: \u201cSince a few years we have a very good relationship with the\u00a0<\/em>guys from infinite Dreams. They already helped us bringing the W:O:A Metal\u00a0<\/em>Battle to India which was a huge success. Having the chance to support them in\u00a0<\/em>organising the Bangalore Open Air is a matter of course, because Indian people,\u00a0<\/em>as far as we have experienced, are a blast if it comes to Metal and they deserve\u00a0<\/em>to have a great Metal Open Air in their country. We\u00b4re really looking forward to\u00a0<\/em>this\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The festival is due to happen in the month of June and will feature two main\u00a0headlining international heavy-metal bands and other opening Indian acts. The\u00a0Annual Wacken Metal Battle zonal finals is also scheduled to happen at\u00a0Bangalore Open Air.<\/p>\n
