Set to begin in San Antonio on May 1, the tour\u2019s initial dates include stops in Dallas, Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, and Denver among others.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Joining\u00a0<strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>\u00a0for the tour is Boston\u2019s Shadows Fall, Kansas City-based The Browning, Riverside, California\u2019s The Devastated, and Legacy Of Disorder from New Zealand. The tour will precede the release of\u00a0<strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>\u2019s new album titled\u00a0<em>The Industrialist<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>\u00a0recently announced the addition of bass player Matt DeVries. The Ohio native previously noted, \u201cI have been asked to join one of my favorite bands. I have been a fan of\u00a0<strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>since 1992 and I could not be more excited to be part of this incredible band.\u201d Guitarist Dino Cazares and vocalist Burton C. Bell noted, \u201cwe are very excited to have Matt playing bass for\u00a0<strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>. We feel he is a great addition to our touring line-up. He has been a friend for a very long time and he is a great musician who will be a perfect instrument in the\u00a0<strong>FF\u00a0<\/strong>machine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With rehearsals for the tour expected to start soon, the members of\u00a0<strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>\u00a0are finishing details on their forthcoming new album expected for release early summer. Greg Reely has now completed the album\u2019s mix. All that remains is final artwork and packaging. Regarding the new material, Cazares and Bell affirm, \u201cthis album perfectly captures the true nature of\u00a0<strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>. The industrial\/metal blend is a strong return to our original concept for\u00a0<strong>FEAR FACTORY<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>The Industrialist<\/em>\u00a0follows 2010\u2019s critically acclaimed\u00a0<em>Mechanize<\/em>.
