Eddie Trunk,\u00a0Jim Florentine\u00a0and\u00a0Don Jamieson\u00a0are back for the tenth season of the show that\u2019s revered by metalheads and musicians alike, and although the show won\u2019t be back until Saturday, March 31, we just got our hands on a sneak preview of the first batch of confirmed guests.<\/p>\n

Leading the way will be a first time\u00a0That Metal Show\u00a0appearance by\u00a0Adrian Smith\u00a0of\u00a0Iron Maiden<\/a>, which we are totally geeking out in anticipation of. \u201cI\u2019ve known the Maiden guys for a long time and been a fan since day one,\u201d host Eddie Trunk told us. \u201cThey are easily one of the most requested bands to have a member of on\u00a0TMS. Because they are such a global band it\u2019s been hard to track them down, but thrilled we were able to catch up with Adrian. It will be cool because we don\u2019t hear from him often, he\u2019s a great guy, has a huge history with the band, and has a new side project to discuss.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also on the docket this season will be appearances from\u00a0Jason Newsted<\/a>\u00a0(another\u00a0TMS\u00a0newbie),\u00a0Metallica<\/a>\u2018s\u00a0Lars Ulrich,\u00a0Motorhead<\/a>\u2018s\u00a0Lemmy Kilmister\u00a0and the one and only\u00a0Alice Cooper<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re super psyched about this lineup, as is Eddie Trunk. \u201cI\u2019m so excited about the evolution of the show, having rock and metal artists, and first time and returning guests,\u201d he told us. \u201cI love all the variety and am thrilled for a huge 2012!\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
