{"id":1258,"date":"2011-12-20T12:48:25","date_gmt":"2011-12-20T20:48:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/metalassault.com\/news\/?p=1258"},"modified":"2012-05-04T22:33:08","modified_gmt":"2012-05-05T05:33:08","slug":"so-is-the-tongue-new-track-and-album-details-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/metalassault.com\/news\/2011\/12\/20\/so-is-the-tongue-new-track-and-album-details-available\/","title":{"rendered":"SO IS THE TONGUE: New Track And Album Details Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/earsplitpr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"SitT_color\" src=\"http:\/\/www.earsplitcompound.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/SitT_color-e1324059073326.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"233\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As New Jersey-based experimental rock outfit\u00a0<strong>SO IS THE TONGUE<\/strong>\u00a0are preparing to release their sophomore LP,\u00a0<em>A Child Of Divorce<\/em>, this week indie imprint Nefarious Industries have posted a stream of the fourth track from the album. <!--more-->Tune in to stream \u201cEither Way\u201d and order the record in digital or limited LP formats\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/nefariousindustries.com\/releases\/nef-03\/\">right here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Bearing seven tracks containing over forty-three minutes of material,\u00a0<em>A Child Of Divorce<\/em>was executed utilizing the talents of some of\u00a0<strong>SO IS THE TONGUE<\/strong>\u2019s close friends and associates; the instrumental tracks recorded at The Thousand Caves by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice), the vocals recorded by Chris Alfano (East of the Wall) and the artwork completed by Nick Shellenberger (Cleric).\u00a0<em>A Child Of Divorce<\/em>\u00a0will be released on 180-gram LP format \u2014 limited to 300 copies \u2014 and deluxe digital download on January 17th, 2012, via Nefarious Industries, a tight-knit indie label recently formed by several friends who perform in\u00a0<strong>SO IS THE TONGUE<\/strong>, East Of The Wall, El Drugstore and more.<\/p>\n<p>The band have also updated their upcoming live schedule with more January shows confirmed, including a four-date run comprised of all Nefarious Industries bands including A Fucking Elephant, El Drugstore and the DRX in addition to\u00a0<strong>SO IS THE TONGUE<\/strong>.
