Southen California pagan death metal group (and one of our favorite bands) Helsott<\/strong><\/a>, fresh off inking a deal with M-Theory Audio, will be touring across Europe with\u00a0a mini 13-date trek across eight countries and playing in support of their brand new EP ‘The Healer’. It will be their first time navigating the Viking terrain of Holy Europe!<\/p>\n

On this run, Helsott\u00a0will be opening for I Am Morbid which features ex Morbid Angel vocalist\/bassist David Vincent, and ’80s death metal pioneers Necrophagia. For those curious, yes I Am Morbid is indeed a Morbid Angel cover band that has Tim Yeung on drums and Ira Black and Bill Hudson on guitar.\u00a0I Am Morbid is slated to perform hit songs from the albums ‘Altars of Madness’, ‘Blessed Are The Sick’, ‘Covenant’, and ‘Domination’.<\/p>\n

Coming back to Helsott, they are currently running an IndieGoGo campaign<\/a> to help fund this Europe tour, and among the perks offered for contributors, there is an exclusive t-shirt with art designed by\u00a0Kevin Storm from Heidevolk. In other news, Helsott will be headlining Metal Assault Night Vol. 8 \u00a0at the Viper Room<\/a> on Sunday July 30th with support from M-Theory label mates Apothesary, SicociS and Empyrean Throne, and will soon be announcing a US West Coast tour surrounding the LA appearance.<\/p>\n
