Metal Assault\u2019s Joe Dolan was on site to cover the event and capture some video and photos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Franky Perez has long been known in the rock and roll industry for his work with artists including Guns N&#8217; Roses\u00a0members Slash and Matt Sorum, Dave Navarro, Sebastian Bach and a long list of bands that have dotted the Sunset Strip and entertained the Las Vegas landscape. With his latest incarnation under the moniker \u201cFranky Perez and the Truth,\u201d he makes another well-respected mark on the modern day entertainment calendar with a blend of unique and bluesy original music and classic cover songs.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/72529L6yEc8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Without a doubt, through years of recording and performing alongside Billy Idol, Michael Jackson, Vince Neil and his own landmark group the Atomic Playboys,\u00a0Steve Stevens has earned more than just a footnote in rock history; he\u2019s built a loyal and dedicated fan base, and for good reason. However, the opportunity for fans to experience his guitar wizardry often comes at a higher ticket price and having to choose a seat among ten thousand of your closest friends in a major arena. By taking command of the stage at the <em>Viper Room<\/em>, fans who shell out just a couple of bucks literally have Stevens playing directly to their faces, often at just inches away \u2013 and the fans can\u2019t get enough.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PYM3U6dzItk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In this recent performance, Stevens took the stage and performed the acoustic guitar solo piece you see in the video above. He joined Frank Perez and the Truth to play through a couple of Led Zeppelin covers, a personalized rendition of some Beatles works and in the second video you see above, Deep Purple\u2019s \u201cHighway Star.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both Franky Perez and the Viper Room have formally announced that these performances will be scheduled monthly throughout 2014, or until further notice.
