Swedish extreme metal giants Meshuggah have announced a short North American headline run leading up to their appearance on the 2018 edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise. Watain announces North American Tour with Destroyer 666

Swedish black metal band Watain has announced their first full tour in support of their upcoming album ‘Trident Wolf Eclipse’ (due out January 5 via Century Media). The band will be headlining venues across North America in February-March 2018 with support act Destroyer 666, plus more to be announced. Check out the dates for the ‘Pandemoniac Wolf March’ below. Bloodbath in Hollywood: GWAR & Ghoul splatter Fonda Theatre

November 22nd 2017, Fonda Theatre, Hollywood CA: In support of their 14th full-length studio album ‘The Blood of Gods’, perennial shock rock / heavy metal group GWAR is currently on a typically extensive North American headline run. The band is known to bring solid support bands with them as part of the touring package every time they come through, but this time even they’ve outdone themselves with the lineup, featuring fellow blood-splashers Ghoul, along with North Carolina hard rockers He Is Legend and Richmond VA rock n’ roll trio U.S. Bastards. The fact that the tour arrived in Los Angeles the night before Thanksgiving did not deter GWAR’s LA faithful to pack the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood to capacity, as the white-shirt-clad fans knew they were in for a bloody treat. After its inaugural edition which saw participation from Philadelphia and Boston, the Wacken Metal Battle USA is back, bigger and better! Its second edition will witness bands from various cities battle it out for one coveted spot to represent the USA in the global battle at Wacken Open Air 2018, and the USA battle is all set to makes its debut on the West Coast, with Los Angeles and San Diego already among the confirmed cities, along with Philadelphia and New York (more cities to be announced).
