13. Iron Maiden: Fear Of The Dark

This was significant because of the fact that it was the first Maiden cover not designed by Derek Riggs. You wouldn't find this in too many other 'best of' lists and this isn't anywhere near the best incarnation of Maiden's mascot Eddie. But it impresses me just for the simple reason that it's a great picture in which the artist has turned a plain, melancholic looking tree into an Eddie-like creature representing 'fear', with the moon and the night sky representing the 'dark'.
