Los Angeles-based female-fronted modern heavy metal band Edge Of Paradise put out their debut album “Mask” earlier this year, an album on which the music hits the right balance between being heavy and melodic. Through local gigs in the LA area, the band has used up every possible opportunity to present this material on stage, and continue towards their constant pursuit of booking shows.<\/p>\n

On October 26th, I sat down with singer Margarita Monet and guitarist Dave Bates to discuss this debut album in detail. We also talked about various other topics like line-up changes, guest musicians, and the local metal scene.
