Having released a hugely impressive debut full-length “Generation Why?” on Earache Records this year, Chicago thrashers Diamond Plate have been rather actively living life on the road, with extensive tours across North America. First, they completed a tour with Kittie and Dirge Within, and then jumped straight onto a tour with Warbringer, Lazarus A.D. and Landmine Marathon.<\/p>\n

This tour kicked off at Hollywood’s Key Club on October 3rd, and before the show I caught up with guitarist Konrad Kupiec and vocalist\/bassist Jon Macak to talk about the new album, touring, the positives and negatives of being signed to a label, burgers, and lots more.
