By Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal, November 2nd 2011, Hollywood CA: Cavalera Conspiracy, featuring Max and Igor Cavalera as the main songwriters along with Marc Rizzo on guitar and Johny Chow on bass, put out a killer new release titled "Blunt Force Trauma" earlier this year. This album serves as a strong follow-up to the band's debut album "Inflikted", as it succeeds in turning things up a notch or two and giving fans something even heavier than that debut album.

On the back of this release, the band has been actively touring across North America and beyond, including shows in Europe and South America. Currently they are about to wrap up their North American run with Otep, Earth Crisis and Mold Breaker, and a few hours before they hit the stage here at the Key Club in Hollywood, I got a chance to sit down with Max to talk about the new album, touring, opening for Iron Maiden, and various other topics.
