Interview: Testament's Chuck Billy Talks About Touring With Anthrax, Next Album, VIP Meet 'N Greets (Video)

By Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal, October 28th 2011, South Side Music Hall, Dallas TX: When it comes to thrash metal, Testament is about as solid as it gets. On stage, this group of highly skilled musicians from the Bay Area puts on brutally insane shows night after night, with Chuck Billy's beastly vocals adding a uniqueness to it which separates them from other bands playing a similar style of music.

As they prepare to put the finishing touches on their next studio album "Dark Roots Of Earth", Testament are currently on a co-headlining North American run with Anthrax, and support from fellow Bay Area thrashers Death Angel. They are getting a much longer set as compared to their recent tours, and for this reason, this tour is perhaps an accurate representation of what this band is all about.

On my thrash adventure in Dallas, I sat down with Chuck to talk about this tour, the next album, the drummer situation, VIP meet 'n greets, and lots more. Watch the chat below, and check out the band's facebook page for more!
