By Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal, September 8th 2011, DiPiazza's, Long Beach CA: Krum Bums are a street punk band from Austin, Texas and have been around for as long as 11 years now. I got a first taste of them tonight at the lovely DiPiazza's lounge in Long Beach, as they opened up for Holy Grail and Toxic Holocaust on this killer punk-meets-metal tour that ran across every corner of North America from July 29th to September 10th.

After the band's high-octane performance here tonight, I got a chance to talk to vocalist Dave Tejas as he told me what it feels like to be on this metal tour, his love for metal, and the kind of "rockers" he respects and disrespects.
