He is the guitarist and primary songwriter in Fates Warning, a band he co-founded in 1982 and aside from releasing 12 studio albums for Fates Warning, he has involved himself in a few other projects like OSI, Gordian Knot, a couple of solo albums, as well as a collaboration with John Arch simply called Arch/Matheos.
